It looks sleek and sturdy, but when I unscrewed the wallet someone had already pressed several words into it with a metal stamp.So 1. I don't love that I paid full price for a used, returned product. and 2. I am not happy that I have to drive to a whole foods to return the item.

Very simple and easy to use system. I used a 3mm letter stamp kit to hammer my seed phrase onto the plates. I really like how I can store two different recovery phrases for two of my wallets.Overall the steel plates are very sturdy and I like the fact that the system has two cover plates to protect from damage.One tip. Make sure your letters are carefully aligned BEFORE you hammer. I accidentally hammered one letter upside down because I didn’t check.I will also say the CRYO DOT I purchased previously is a little easier to use because of the punch tool, but I like this one because it can store 2 x 24-word seed phrases.

This Cryo seed wallet arrived as advertised. It was super easy to stamp and secure my seed phrase. I used the 3mm stamp kit. It seems a lot more permanent than just writing and storing on paper/electronically. As some of the other reviews have suggested, you only need to stamp the first four letters of each word from the BIP39 list so there should be enough room to capture the whole phrase this way. I might get another just to serve as a backup instead of using a paper backup copy. This is a neat product for those looking to more securely manage your crypto needs.

I rarely write reviews. Recently bought this crypto-seed cold storage product. The product arrived in good condition, although the 2nd plate did have noticeably scratches. I tried to engrave using a punch press set bought on Amazon as well (recommended as an add on product by Amazon). It was a total failure. I HIGHLY recommend one of the billfodl type wallets with precast letters. The engraving/punch did not work well. I would give it a zero if I could. Buyers beware, total waste of money.

It is impossible to determine from the marketing literature alone which ones are winners and which ones are losers. And in my experience with these products, this CRYO Crypto Seed Storage - Crypto Steel Wallet is the best of the best.Everything about this product has been impressive - from the nice presentation to the actual utility. The box is made hardboard with a magnetic closure. The inside is lined with high quality cushioned foam that fits the plates perfectly. There is no reason to discard the box at all; I plan to keep it to store the actual plates.I ordered a stamping kit separately from this product, including the stamps and a polished striking plate. I just used a regular hammer I had in the garage. I was able to sit at a desk and stamp out the first four letters of each of the seed words. Once complete, the screws were assembled for a nice secure flush fit. The plates do not move at all once tightened. I also order holographic tamper evident seals to place on the secured plates so that I can quickly determine whether the seed words have been accessed.This product has quite a bit of heft to it and feel good in the palm of your hand. It's like holding a polished miniature steel ingot. The quality and craftsmanship here are outstanding and it outshines all other similar products that I have encountered. CYYO is now a brand that I will hold in high esteem. Highly recommended.

This is a great cold storage wallet for your crypto seeds.I am new to crypto so have been learning about the different crypto wallets.This one is presented beautifully in a sturdy and well packaged box which would make a great gift for any crypto enthusiast.It comes with clear instructions and even a coupon for 50% off another cryo.It was easy to stamp the letters onto the metal.I used an impressart kit but any standard cheap kit would work.Definitely recommend.
