Maymom Flange Adapter for Spectra S1 Pumps, Spectra S2 Pump to Use Breastshield and Bottles; Connects Between Breastshield and Spectra Backflow Protector (Yellow_4Pc)

So I tried a couple of hacks to get my spectra pump to work with my medela (symphony) pumping kit, but without success until these guys arrived. They have also lasted a really long time. I have had these for a few months now and I have not yet needed to use the second set that comes as part of the pack. They were were a little stiff the first time I connected them, but soon became easy to remove, so don't worry if you have a little trouble taking them off for cleaning purposes the first couple of times. A lifesaver product. Thank you Maymom.

I used these a couple of times when I breastfed my son, but now that I am EPing for my daughter while she is in the NICU, I use them all of the time! They fit the spectra backflip protector and the medela shields perfectly, and do not decrease the suction power of my pump! It has made using my spectra pump so much more cost efficient since I can use the parts I received from the hospital now. They do not change the comfort of the pump (which isn’t great in the first place, because let’s be honest, when is pumping ever actually comfortable?), and the only complaint I have is that it adds an extra thing to wash, which is unavoidable. But, luckily, they are dishwasher safe, so I just plop them in there when I’m done!

This small, inexpensive piece was perfect to use Medela parts I brought home from the hospital on my spectra s1 pump.

I have used a Medela pump for years and have a lot invested in the equipment, but with my newest baby I got a Spectra pump from insurance (side note- LOVE IT) but I didn’t want to spend a lot on flanges etc. This adapter is perfect- I hooked up my old Medela flange to the Spectra and it worked perfectly! I’m so glad I can still get life out of my old pump parts now. I also bought the duckbill valves to replace the yellow Medela valves with the white membrane. I have read the duckbill style are better. Those were also Maymom brand. I know it isn’t Spectra name brand, but I would not hesitate to buy more from Maymom. I also got the Medela bottle/wide neck bottle adapter from Maymom and those are perfect.
