MikasaHarmony 65-Piece Stainless Steel Flatware Set, Service for 12

The set is lovely. Sophisticated enough to use in formal settings with dinner guests, and sturdy enough to use day-to-day in your family's kitchen/dining room.We have had the set for approximately 4 months now and the cutlery is regularly run through our dishwasher with excellent results and no spotting, rusting or damage. The fork tines are quite a bit longer than our previous set and take some getting used to, so you don't stab yourself in the lip, but the length definitely adds to the elegance.The knives are substantial in weight and well balanced. Similarly, the soup spoon is large enough for my huband (6'3", 270 lbs) to use comfortably and all pieces are strong and resist any bending/flexing even when used with significant pressure to cut meats, etc.I couldn't be happier with this purchase!

This set is very elegant. the 18/10 stainless steel really gives a silvery shine you can differentiate from the stainless steel of lower quality. I would have given it 5 stars if everything else were perfect. However one of the knives got double Mikasa stamps while one of the tea spoon got none. it won't matter if it's just for everyday use but it won't be nice for entertaining 12 guests.

I'm very pleased with the quality of this silverware set. The weight of the pieces are well balanced and heavy. The soup spoon is very large and feels somewhat European in style. The salad fork is sharp for a true salad for experience - I was pleasantly surprised! This would be a wonderful first set for a wedding present!

The set was complete and quality was good. If you seeking above average quality this is it.

Purchased this lovely set of silverware to replace a medium quality silverware set we received for our wedding 17 years ago. I love this set and more importantly my husband loves this set of silverware. Husband says, "I like how heavy it is and I like design." Not a single issue with any of the peices. I wish I would have purchased this years ago! I will only buy Mikasa from now on! I like the clean lines of the design and that each piece has a nice balance in my hand.
