HOPPE'SElite Aerosol Gun Cleaner Bottle

Gun cleaner is excellent. Use it on all my guns and does an excellent job of cleaning.

I hate hype. I find that most products don't live up their claims, and in the world of gun-cleaning, many similar products by different manufacturers aren't any better than anyone else's. Hoppe's Elite Gun Cleaner, particularly when used in conjunction with Hoppe's Elite Copper Terminator, really does substantially reduce my cleaning time for my pistols, and does seem to help reduce the amount of stubborn fouling in the bore. This is consistent with the manufacturer's claims, which I find somewhat astounding. I shoot about 750 rounds a week, so I'm always cleaning firearms. This stuff helps make the job easier. Of course, I still use Hoppe's No. 9 Powder solvent as well. The combination of these three products and a consistent commitment to keeping my firearms in good shape has kept me malfunction free and accurate at the range. That's a win in my book!

Not much to say in reviewing this product. Simply put, it does its job, and appears to do it well.There is almost no odor, which is a nice plus. I can do this in my house if I want, without ticking off my partner. It gets my gun clean and clear each time. When sprayed on the exterior of my AR-15 (which is Parkerized), it can leave a bit of a sticky feeling behind, which can grab at paper towel or cloth particles on whatever you are using to wipe up with, but I'm sure a lot of cleaners do this.My only complaint is perhaps the spray bottle. Not my favorite means of dispensing product, but I bought it knowing it was in a spray bottle, so I can't complain too much about that.All in all, it's good stuff, and if you want a stink free, quality cleaning product, this will do it.

I, like many others, used Hoppes 9 but the odor was killing the mood, brain cells, and the air quality for a small metropolitan area. This smells like lemons, and cleans very well. The spray makes it easier to use than a pour bottle.

Love the product. However, mine was missing the cap for some reason. Second spray item from amazon that was missing the cap...

Received item in good condition. First time buying this product. I only hope it works as good as advertised.

Way better than Hoppe's number 7. I have used number 7 for years and this is now my go to. No smell and it actually works better at cleaning. Still need to apply oil after using this to clean. Best product for its purpose.

Best cleaner ever, just be careful of some painted finishes. The receiver on my 10/22 does not like it and gets a little weird if it's in contact for close to a minute or more, but the lead and power residue inside doesnt like it either and almost runs away on its own, lol. Has no effect on (wont damage) plastics or other hard finishes like bluing, anodizing or that which comes on scopes or modern hand guns like my m&p that I have found so far. Oh, and it is a cleaner it has some stink and takes a couple hand washings to go away, but not overbearing.
