Not Perfect but Affordable
My R5 5600X works perfectly fine in this motherboard after using the USB flashback button to update to BIOS version 2807. Windows even stayed activated for me after my swap from Intel, which is a nice bonus. So the details. Not my normal style, but I feel a point by point review will involve less typing here as there's a lot to cover.Pros:- It's a whole $60 CAD cheaper than the B550 version.- To support Zen 3 it just needed a simple BIOS update.- The BIOS flashback feature is reliable, unlike the one on MSI's boards as I personally experienced.- It's got some simple but nice looking RGB lighting built in.- It's not a bad looking motherboard in general, though I'd prefer if it was more monochrome.- It has re-sizable bar support, however after seeing terrible fps in some VR games with it on I'm leaving it off for a bit. (Edited after my 3090 got ReBAR support)- Being an ASUS board, it's lighting is controllable in iCUE after installing Aura Sync.Cons:- It's a slightly older gen motherboard, and is missing features like PCIe 4.0 etc.- With no PCIe 4.0, this will possibly make re-sizable bar much less effective.- With a SATA M.2 installed, it disables the 2 SATA ports that get hidden behind your GPU.- There's no zero RPM fan option in BIOS, something I used to mitigate dust in my NH-D15S.- It only has 12v RGB headers instead of 5v ARGB.- It tries to get you to install Armoury Crate unless you disable it in the BIOS.- The I/O shield isn't fixed, but this isn't a big deal for me.- I'm not too fond of the BIOS in general, I find it less user friendly than MSI's Click BIOS 5.For the money this is a pretty good Ryzen 5000 motherboard, sure it's missing some features you'd get with B550 or X570 but they're not exactly essential. This will certainly get you by without sacrificing performance. And any frustrations I had with it was just me being an idiot who needs to learn to RTFM.Edit: I ended up swapping this part out for a ROG Strix B550-F, but only because I'm indecisive and not having certain features bothered me much more than I thought it would. Since it's past the return period, this motherboard will likely be kept until I can sell it privately.

Missing PCIe info. 3 stars.
I asked a question which wasn't answered either by a past buyer or even the owner. I needed to know if it was PCIe 3.0 or 4.0 only. No answer given.Upon receiving the item, I discovered on the board it was PCIe 3.0Meaning, if you buy a Nvme M.2 SSD samsung PRO drive, you wont benefit it's full speed potential as it requires a 4.0 moto. Not sure why this info PCIe isnt mentionned anywhere in here, but this info should be a priority detail as it has a crucial impact on Samsung Turbo nvme m.2 pro ssd drive speed. ( if you chose to buy ine in the future of course )It also comes with 2 set of screws for m.2 nvme ssd drive.Nb:To install a m.2 ssd, you need to screw the 1 set of screws in advance by using both top and bottom screw together. Once screwed in, remove the top screw. Slide in your m.2 in slot until the back end lays normally on the screw, then use top screw to attach both. Took me awhile to figure this out as there was no instruction on this nor on youtube as this is a particular board.3 stars bcz I got the pkg faster then supposed to. I still have yet to test it out. Will leave more updates in the future.

Awesome motherboard for Ryzen 5000 series
I am using it for gaming computer with ryzen 5000 series and it was super easy to update the bios. Just make sure to use the usb to flash bios instead of through network. Also make sure you have the right bios version in your root of usb and the correct name. When you are gonnna insert the usb - make sure there is a square around that slot says it is a bios usb entrance area.

Good board with alot going for it.
The first time round the 3.0 USB header did not work, Amazon was all over it sending me a replacement and I am happy to say everything is going well with my build. I am not much of a gamer and I only have a Ryzen 3 so I can't really speak to gaming on this board. But I can say that everything else I have thrown its way has not been a problem at all.
