They do smear because they take a while to dry but they're so bold and awesome.

I love the pens but they have a burr on some of the pens tips so in a box there’s like 5 that’s is sharp

Expect pens that don’t work or that are not screwed together. Had to throw 2 pens away because of damaged or poorly manufactured tips. 3 pens were basically loose in the box…. But hey. Thy sure write nice!The world is no longer perfect?

After my first day of use, I really like these pens. I had been using Pilot B2P with G2 ink cartridge, but they are difficult to find in .5mm. Was buying .5mm refills and swapping, but then I end up with extra .7mm spares. Also, twice the B2P fell out of my shirt pocket and managed to land directly on the tip and damaging it causing it to leak. These have much tighter clips and shouldn't fall so easily.Removing the covering on the tips is a bit involved. Since they had been sitting in my hot mailbox for a while, the coating was slightly soft. Better the let them cool, them remove cartridge from the pen and scrape off with a napkin or paper towel. Most of the screw together joints needed tightening, but not a big deal to tighten them back together.

While the pens barrel is larger than I am accustomed to, I have grown to appreciate the added comfort it affords. The ink is a bit slower to set, causing some smears (I am a lefty). The line is bold, clear and especially smooth as it is laid down. All in all, at $1 a pen, this is a fine value.

These pens make a thick black line. I've never seen a gel pen that lays down so much ink. I have to be mindful when using it, to be careful to let it thoroughly dry before letting my papers touch another surface. These are truly unique. If used with care they are incredible.

The pens arrived on time. And they're wonderful. I have arthritis and the grip makes it much easier to hold. If it were larger (wider) that would have been even better, but I am very satisfied with them.Oh... the little things they put on the nibs to stop the pens from drying out are a b***h to remove.It's really hard to find a fine point on gel pens. I love fine point. These are worth the price.

These pens are great if you like superfine. But the fine tips are covered in a blob of plasticine like material to prevent drying. Taking this off to use the pen is surprisingly difficult - I have broken 25% of them, meaning they no longer represent good value

Ink smudges on these very easily and it is hopeless for writing labels, however for normal writing on paper they are fine! Would not repurchase!

Bought these on a whim. They look cheap but they work like a million bucks. They're smooth to write with and the result, on paper, looks marvellous. Give them a try.

Some of the smoothest and reliable pens I've ever bought. The photo shows these pens ontop and a cheap pen on bottom. The strokes of the pen are smooth, clear, bold and feels great to write with. I use these for work and just about anytime I need a pen to write something down. I'd highly recommend if you're looking for a 0.5 black ballpoint pen, this is probably the best for it's value on Amazon.
