When I first opened this I thought these were a good deal, until I looked at them more. Maybe 50% of them are defective or not of good quality. They paint on the outside is peeling up. They have weird divots in them that looks like they've been chewed on, but it's the pencil and the paint. The assortment doesn't look like the advertised photos on Amazon. I know they said random assortment but clearly some of these are winter themed. If you need all 50 of these, don't purchase these. I'm wondering if I can get 20 out of this for a class party. I thought I could use for other events, but it looks like most will get tossed. Very disappointed. These shipped quickly and are sealed up very nice. It does NOT appear these were damaged in shipping. It's the actual subpar quality of the pencils. Debating if I should return them all. Buyer beware.

I received (5) cracked erasers which do not stay put on the pencil end. All in all, these are as expected (inexpensive kids pencils), and worked well for my kids valentine’s gifts. Just be careful if you truly need (50) as you’ll likely have a few defects that prevent you from using all (50).

We bought these to put in birthday party favor bags. It was a good thing it was a pack of 50, because about 20 of the erasers were either broken or had black smudges on them. I feel like we got what we paid for, but I’d have rather purchased 25 for the same price and gotten a better product.

These pencils are cute and the kids love them, except that half of the pencils were missing lead completely, and the other half you had to keep sharpening until it was only 4 inches long until you got to it. Would have been better off buying a pack of cute eraser toppers to put on good pencils.

These were a terribly disappointing purchase. I bought them for a year end treat for my younger students. The erasers came looking incredibly dirty, to the extent you couldn't see the faces-which defeats the purpose. The stripes on the pencil shaft completely unrolls when you sharpen the pecan. But the most disappointing feature was that after sharpening, the graphite in its entirety slides out of the pencil, which created a mess and many sad students as their treat turned unusable in the first day. Truly truly disappointed with these.
