It looks great and works well with Prismacolor pencils, which is what I mainly use this for. Prismacolors are so fragile (for lack of a better word) and kind of waxy that it's difficult to find a good sharpener that works well with them. Before this, I had been using the tiny, metal manual sharpener that comes with a big box of Prismacolors. It works well, but it's so much more work and takes so long to sharpen (I have to sharpen a lot for what I do). This saves me a lot of time and isn't an eye-sore sitting on my desk!

This pencil sharpener was awesome in the beginning. Excellent points with minimal effort. Then, after just a few weeks of light home use, it stopped working properly and will not shapen a pencil. I've contacted the manufacturer to see if they will stand by their warranty.Update: Giving this four stars because of excellent customer service. I filled out the warranty form online, and a few days later I got a replacement sharpener in the mail. No muss, no fuss. Great service.

This is the best sharpener I have ever had in my classroom! It is not noisy and it only takes a few seconds to sharpen each pencil. It is so much better than some of the previous "clunky" ones I've purchased.

Be prepared to use both hands when sharpening pencils. It's too lightweight to withstand the pressure necessary to sharpen your pencil without one hand holding the sharpener to keep it from moving. The motor is not heavy duty...it struggles to sharpen unless you feed the pencil very slowly. And it's hard to sharpen the pencil so that only the lead is at the point...there is frequently a hood of wood all the way to the point. Since I sharpen dozens of pencils at a time, I was hoping for something more powerful.

This is the third one of these I have had. First one lasted a year. The second, a few months. This last one was garbage straight out of the box. It was loud and couldn't get through two pencils without jamming.

we really like Westcott iPoint Curve Axis Electric Heavy Duty Pencil Sharpener, the size, it stand very well you don't need to hold it when you sharpen the pencils because it doesn't move around, I definitly recomend it for office, house or classroom.

Works great and sharpens quickly and nicely. got an extra one for a teacher because I liked it so much.

Tough and Durable product. Good for lawyers. Attractive desk display. Voltage input needed is 110. So an additional transformer plug to convert 220V to 110 required to be added separately. Good if can be found locally. Product looks durable in all other aspects.

VERY POOR QUALITY. GOT SPOILT OF USAGE AT DAY 1, AS SELLER DID NOT MENTION ABOUT USING A CONVERTER.
