This is absolutely the best brush for my two dogs. Gets tangles out easily and they don't seem to mind because it doesn't pull the hair badly.

My maltipoo has curly fur, so her fur gets tangled very easily ! Using other brushes usually stresses her out , and brush time is never fun for her because it hurts to brush. This brush doesn’t seem to have that effect on her though! She doesn’t mind being brushed anymore and her fur always looks sooo clean after , definitely recommend for curly fur pets

I bought this to replace a cheap plastic-toothed slicker-style brush that, while gentle to my dog's extremely sensitive skin, didn’t do a great job of brushing. This is just what I needed. The bristles are firm enough to comb through her hair without pulling or bending, while the plastic ball-tipped ends glide across her skin with absolutely no scratching. I like the slightly curved profile, as it has better penetration through longer hair than the other flat-backed brushes I own. (My dog’s hair is about 2” long.) I’m not sure this would work as well for thick or curly hair, but for fine, silky hair, it’s about perfect. My only concern is that the ball tips may pull off after awhile, but they look pretty solid. I’ve used this twice now on my skittish dog who hates getting brushed, and I think she’s pretty happy about it. So am I.

I only write reviews when I’m blown away by a product or service but I’m compelled to write one for this brush. I just ordered the medium brush yesterday and it arrived this afternoon! I brushed my Teddy Bear(bishon/shih tzu) and my Sheepadoodle with it and it is truly amazing! I’ve always been a fan of slicker brushes for my dogs and horses but I have to be somewhat careful that the metal tines don’t scratch the animal’s skin. The coated tips on this brush are a wonderful idea! They cause a slight resistance when brushing through a thick coat which seems to penetrate down to the skin better and is more comfortable to the animal’s skin. My dogs usually try to pull away when I’m brushing their legs but they didn’t do that with this brush. So I think they like it much better than other ones I’ve used and I absolutely love this brush! It is by far the best slicker brush I’ve ever owned and I highly recommend it! Im ordering the large one right now!

This slicker brush is top-notch! My poodle has a thick and woolly coat, and brushing her used to be a chore until I found this gem. It effortlessly reaches the base of her hair, making grooming a breeze. Plus, it's gentle on her skin! Matting is now a thing of the past. Highly recommended for fellow poodle parents!

I love these brushes! I’m a dog groomer and they are by far my favorite. BUT they break really easily. We have ours glued right now. We love them so much we will order more. I’m sure if you’re not a dog groomer they will last you longer than they did us. We had them for a month and they broke.
