Liftoff Drone Racing Deluxe Edition (PS4)

I hesitated to buy this PS4 game version due to the “mixed” reviews and because I already have the Steam computer simulator version of Liftoff which allows more realistic FPV practice flying using a real remote control radio. The PS4 controller is just not accurate enough to afford real quality practice, compared to the precision of Hall effect gimbals of a quality remote control radio,.. however a “dongle” or “upgrade” is supposedly coming some day that will allow for a control radio to be used instead of the PS4 controller. In the mean time, this PS4 version is still a lot of fun, the Joshua Bardwell tutorials are a “hoot,” and it’s a lot more comfortable to be playing from the living room sofa, instead of more time sitting in front of the computer.UPDATE: This Amazon item was fulfilled from the UK vendor, “Rarewaves-Imports UK”, and while it doesn’t seem to be a “Region coded” DVD and will work normally in a North American PlayStation PS4, I could not use my “Deluxe Version upgrade code” (included in the box) to activate the deluxe features because it is for “Region 2” only and not for North America. I was also having some difficulty with the program (navigating the menus is confusing and difficult to “reset”), so I contacted the fulfillment vendor Rarewaves-Imports UK and they “hid behind” Amazon’s “‘return window” policy (time expired). I contacted Astragon customer support and instead of just supplying an upgrade code for Region 1 North America, and they referred me to the LuGus software developer. After two email requests, LuGus kindly responded and provided assistance, though it really wasn’t a problem that they were responsible for. If you are in North America, and buy this PS4 Deluxe Edition through Amazon, realize that you are only in effect going to get the “Standard Edition”, because the “Deluxe Upgrade upgrade code” will not work! It’s a fun “game” with great potential as an FPV drone flying training tool, I can’t understand why Astragon is doing such a poor job of servicing the North American customers.

I was wowed by the choices of places to fly and different drones to choose from . So 3 stats cause the game was bad .
