incomplete item
it would have been helpful if this product came with the 2 simple screws that are needed for installation .. very frustrating it didn't ..

Worked perfectly.

Not compatible with Pro model.
The lever is not compatible with the Pro model as noted in the description. The plastic clip should sit flush with the back of the lever. (See pic). I can’t speak to compatibility with the Express model, which may work fine. The workmanship and stainless finish are very nice; I also like the stubby handle. Hopefully they rework the design to work with the Pro model.

Works perfect, but supplied screws too short.
The lever is a very good quality and fits perfectly on my Barista Pro. However, the supplied screws are too short, at least for the Barista Pro. I had some M3 x 8 screws around so it wasn't much of a problem.Looks like the Barista Pro has a slightly different plastic insert than other models.

Bottomless portafilter
Love the bottomless portafilter, helps detect channeling, so I can improve my puck prep to eliminate channeling which improves shot quality. Don't care for tamping mat due to size a little small. And don't need recessed spot for tamper that reduces surface size for portafilter to lay flat on so you have to lay portafilter halfway over edge which is fine for a spouted portafilter not a bottomless 1

Low quality finish falling apart, doesn’t lock into place securely
Great looking design but has some major flaws and quality issues. Most importantly, it just simply doesn’t lock into place properly. More than once it has loosened itself and released mid-shot causing an explosive mess. Also, the “stainless steel” finish around the handle is sharply flaking off after less than a year of use.
