just what I was looking for. This stand elevates the degree of slant to a perfect typing height. Also, I like the pad that keeps the computer from sliding off the stand. My computer edges are a little sharp and now the pad keeps them from rubbing my wrist as I use the touch pad. The stand also pivots which comes in handy also. My husband says just another gadget, but it is so much more useful and I have enjoyed using it already. Hopefully the elevation will also help the heat problem I have been having with my computer. I can feel that the heat is escaping more easily with the elevation vs. sitting on a flat surface and no fan noise or cords connecting the fan to my computer. yahoo!

It's a little funky but we wanted both a slant to the laptop and some ventilation so this works. We like that we can adjust the amount of the slant. We removed the swivel wheel from the bottom so the overall stand isn't quite so high off the desk and it also seems more stable.

I must say, this stand has served me well for my 13" Apple MBPro and a couple 11.6" Samsung ChromeBooks. I tried to make use of the swivel plate but it just didn't grow on me so I eventually took it off 1 year into its life. This has good adjustment levels depending on the laptop's size and remains firmly in place. Also, it got plenty of space underneath for airflow and circulation which theoretically helps with cooling/ventilation. The only drawback that I am dealing with this product is its rather narrow width. I wish it's at least a third or half an inch wider on either side to better "catch" the device in place. Other than that, this stand comes highly recommended!

Let me state that I returned this product to the manufacturer, but it was only because the lowest elevation level was greater than I ended up needing. If you need/want an elevation of 10 deg or more, this might be the solution. When I first took it out of the box it seemed a bit flimsy. But after placing my 15 laptop on it, it was secure. And with the laptop in place, it did not swivel when using the laptop. However if you do want the swivel, it is easy to do. Another positive of this design is the front lip runs all the way across the entire stand, so there were no narrow tabs sticking up where my wrists are positioned.

I was hoping to find an adjustable, non-skid stand for a 15' inch laptop I wanted to leave on a desk for permanent use. What I got was a stand that was adjustable, but the rubber stops on the bottom does not prevent the stand from sliding on the desk and It has a rotation disk on the bottom that constantly allow the laptop to move around and rotate.Also the table that the laptop sits on is not the full length to accommodate a 15 inch laptop, which caused the computer to tilt if you apply pressure on either side. The bed measures '10inches. I would've returned it but I had drilled a screw in the table to stop it from rotating.

Buyer beware, this is thin plastic and too flexible to be stable. Mine is slightly tweaked and won't sit flat. It kept collapsing on one side when I put my 15" laptop on it no matter how carefully I placed the computer on the stand. I had to use black gorilla tape to hold things in place so it would stay propped up. It does provide ventilation now that I taped it which is the only good thing about it. Not recommended.

I am using this for a compact laptop for work and I like the flexibility of the height adjustments, the swivel base and how it is easy to carry around in my laptop bag. It helps with posture which is important for me when using in work meetings for long periods of time.

It arrived in just a few days.It EXCEEDED my expectationsI have an HP Pavillion 17 " laptop that rests PERFECTLY snug inside.I love the fact that I can adjust the angle according to my typing need a.Sometimes I feel as though I am still using my old desktop computer.I highly recommend this for all laptop users.
