This device claims to block 99% of the EMF radiation coming off the earphones connected to your mobile phone. I tested this claim using an EMF Meter (the GQ EMF-390 radiation detector) which measures EMF radiation up to 10Ghz. My test meter showed no apparent reduction at all when the device was connected. I therefore returned the device for a refund.

Update: I've made several more calls with the device and the crackle has gone. The sound quality is good and it does seem to mitigate the 'sting' and 'buzz' I normally get whilst using headphones. It is working well with the extra long coiled headphones I have (for maximum distance from the mobile phone). Shall continue experimenting. Many thanks.First impressions for the device: Not sure if the connection is somewhat faulty as there is a crackle, diminished volume, or intermittent sound unless I twist the 3.5 mm jack into a working position. I have tested two different headphones with and without the SYB protection device. The headphones are both in working order. I intend to test more thoroughly. Also I am unsure how I can test for myself re reduction in radiation via headphones. Disclaimer: One of the headphones I am using comes with an extra long coiled cable. I am not sure if the device is designed to deal with this. Shall continue testing and will update the review accordingly. Many thanks.

I suffered cancer as a child and again after remission; following this health issues i have now learned that i have brain tumours as a result of radiation from Xray machines and there treatment.I have been told to stay away from all radiation equipment sources; even air travel as there is alot of radiation in aircraft at altitude.So it was important to look at all devices that can minimise the radiation going to my head, so when we saw this device it was perfect and provided the safety i needed when using my headphones from the radiation being omitted from the electronic device through the headphones. This product and its technology was perfect and it didn't impair the sound quality, if anything it sounded better; and the headphones still remained to have all the functions with volume control, changing channels and mic, whilst using this device.I also suffer bad tinnitus and need to use the earphone all night to sleep and this device offered the peace of mind knowing the radiation that normally flows up the earphones is now restricted.I and my wife were so impressed we purchased a further four; so now for our kids & grandchildren are using these constantly, whilst using there phones & pads.We have also informed all our family, friends and work colleagues about this device and the health benefits this device offers.I hope this company maintains the good work and invests in looking at other ways they can improve this technology, across all electrical devices and accessories.This is an important device and its technology so to protect the whole family, friends & colleagues, and if you have a medical condition that needs radiation restricted from your head and body then you cant go wrong using this product.

I love this!!!!! Bought 3 for me and our family. I was a bit dubious as ive bought several types of airtube earphones that have underperformed. They have either broken or were so quiet that you couldnt heat anything unless it was the middle of the night. Well these were more than just a pleasant surprise. These make the sound crisp and clear and do not reduce sound at all like the air tubes do.Theyve even survived the kids man handling them !!!!!!! Great product. Highly recommend

As I wear headphones very often I was interested in the anti radiation benefits of the SYB Headset Anti Radiation Protection Device.The device is very small and so can easily be carried around in my bag so it's there whenever I need it. The device fits perfectly with my headphones and into my phone and iPad. It is quite expensive for what it is but if it does as it says then it's worth it. The sound is brilliant through the device. I've not noticed that it's any worse or better as opposed to not using the device which is good.As I have no way of proving the device does as it says it does with anti radiation I'm going to have to give it four stars. I'd give it more but having not noticed any difference since using the device I feel it would be wrong to give five stars when I can only go on the companies word that it does do as stated as I've no way to test it out.I think this is a very good idea for a device and maybe it's doing something but like a lot of devices of the kind I have no way of telling if it's doing any good but I'll keep using it regardless in hopes it helps with anti radiation.UPDATE:I have had this device since late October and now in late June it is starting to play sound only in one ear of the headphones. Having had this problem with old headphone wires I can see where this is going and I'm guessing it wont be long until the SYB device stops working altogether. I have taken two star off for this reason as for the price I'd expect it to last far longer than 8 months before stopping working. Very disappointing and I'm unlikely to repurchase if that's only as long as it'll last.
