I really cannot rate this kind of device because I have no way of knowing if it really reduces radiation when I am on my mobile phone. I have to take the seller's word. Nonetheless, I have a favorable opinion of SYB and have purchased several items from them. I suspect the device does just what they say.

I purchased this for my 14 year old daughter. The sound was crisp, while using with her headphones and she used it daily, while working on her laptop or listening to music. 6 months later, I put her headphones on to listen to something she asked me to and realized that the sound was only coming through 1 side. So, I tried another headset and the issue was still there. I asked her if it just started and she said that it had been like that for quite some time. This saddened me because she had been dealing with this for months and I had no idea. She is autistic and rarely complains about anything. I try to minimize the extra "static" in her environment because she is very sensitive to outside energies (sensory processing). So , it's been sitting in my desk drawer for months. *I'm extremely disappointed in the quality of an item that is supposed to help protect our health, plus it's wasn't cheap. I'm out of options.

I was looking for a solution to reduce EMF with headphones. Researching online I saw airtube earbuds on the market which aren’t very comfortable and the sound quality isn’t the best. Using this product actually enhances the sound quality of the headphones! I can use any wired headphones with the SYB headset and that’s amazing! Thanks so much for creating this product :)-Austin

I figured I'd review this real quick, it's a neat idea but I experienced some static noise early on with it. I had it connected between earbuds and an ipod touch. I tolerated the static because it was possible to position the cord connector in such a way that (usually) the static would clear up. As for whether it works to reduce the radiation I'd have to defer to others who have run actual tests on it. The big problem in my opinion was quality-wise it simply didn't last, it got to the point where after a few months I was hearing almost constant static no matter how it was positioned and the end of it with the cord connector seemed to be the issue, I suspect it just gets cable strain after a while and once that happens forget it. I threw mine away. I might recommend a redesign of this by leaving the cord connector right off of it, just have the connector on it or maybe build a set of headphones or buds with this built in and have more reinforcement at the connection points. At the price it definitely needs to hold up better than it did. So I like the idea of it but I can't recommend buying this as it's currently designed.

Bought 2 for my kids to use with their headphones while remote schooling. Less than a month later both kids began complaining sound could only be heard from one side, and one even stopped the mic from working. I confirmed their findings with my phone. Only fidgeting with the jack would I get full function, but it would require fidgeting every few minutes.Customer service was kind enough to allow me to return them in exchange for new ones since it was within warranty. Unfortunately the new ones had the same problem 6 months later. Since it is outside the warranty, they instead offered me 20% off my next purchase. This I find unacceptable. All four devices defective within one to six months.To add insult to injury, I see on Amazon a coupon being offered to everyone for 30% off.Since I do not have an EMF meter, I am taking the company's word that their product is doing what it is supposed to be doing. If however the functionality of sound transmission is unreliable, how reliable is the functionality of their EMF blockade?? It causes a loss of faith in the integrity of the company.Great concept and design... failed to execute.

I have an EMF meter and tested the difference between the signal coming through my earbuds with and without this. The EMFs are much lower WITH this device. Good job guys!Make sure you have a long enough cord as your phone will still put out EMFs directly in addition to what travels down the cord. This can also throw off your readings if your phone is too close when testing.

It only slightly reduced the EMF for RF and electric EMF.... So it pretty much did nothing. I was very disappointed after pulling out my EMF measuring device.

Ordinary headphones send EMFs directly into your brain. Yikes! This little adaptor “cuts them off at the pass”.No volume control on the adaptor itself, you gotta control that on your speakers or phone or whatever device you are listening to.
