I have a 75 pound Weimaraner, and this has been great! He can run and get his exercise in…has held up really well, and fits him well.

This is a high quality training collar that works great on any hard to handle puppy or dog breed. It seriously made a near instant difference in getting the 6 month old hyper Husky/Shepherd puppy to stop some destructive behavior and excessive night time crate barking/howling when voice commands alone was not working.That being said, do not ever make the mistake I did letting your dog sleep with this collar on. If the dog sleeps on the side with the collar prongs, the added body weight pressure will cause bad chafing very quickly.I made this mistake for only a couple nights, before realizing it was chafing since the dog's hair is so thick and didn't see what it was doing to her skin right away. It was only when I noticed a bad smell coming from her collar area, I pieced away her fur enough with my fingers to see the awful red/pink chafing scab the prongs had caused.So do not ever let your dog sleep in this, or leave on for any extended period beyond the short times of the day when you know this collar is needed for training purposes.

I love most Dogtra products. In the past, I’ve not had issues beyond the unit getting old and having to be replaced. However, I’ve had this only a few months and it’s falling apart. The antenna has fallen off and is lost now. No matter how many times I screwed it back on, it would not stay on. I knew this day would come and now it has. The product should be able to be used without causing parts to come lose. I wear the remote around my neck; it’s always hitting my chest and bouncing as I walk, but that shouldn’t make the antenna come off or even come lose. Did I get a defective item that wasn’t made properly?

Best product EVER! I don’t typically write reviews, however, this dog collar is a godsend! It is 100% waterproof, our lab swims with it on everyday! Duke no longer takes off while in the yard when he hears another dog or a neighbor. We can now go on our daily run/walk/hike without a leash, he stays right with us. Purchase this collar, you won’t regret it!Update 12/2023- collar is used every day, and we would still give it 5 stars! No issues after a year and a half. Fantastic product!

I really like the versatility of this collar. With three command options with the ability to control the level of correction gives you the ability to have complete control of your dog’s training.
