Impact Nightguards Custom Ultra Thin Day Guard 1mm (Dayguard 1MM Upper)

I ordered both the upper and lower guards to help my teeth grinding issue. I was shipped with both upper molds, I didn't realize the upper and lower are different so I made the mold anyway and shipped it back. After a few days they realized the mistake and shipped a new set of upper and lower molds to me again. They also told me that my impression for the upper wasn't deep enough, especially towards the back side of teeth. While the instruction said hold and push the front teeth part while molding, but in order to make a complete impression I realized it is important to also hold and push the back teeth part of the mold. This time I have also sent a picture of both impressions for verification, and only shipped back upon verification complete. It took another 2 weeks or so before the guards finally arrived. The quality of the guards is very good, it fits perfectly and takes me no time to get used to it. I wear it for hours talking without any problem, and it is quite comfortable. I really like the service and the product. The only thing I need to do now is to train myself not to lose the guards.

Sadly, it fits only on half of my jaw. The rest half doesn’t fit at all. The seller tried to fix an issue by sending me new putty and making new molds - but for some reason neither of them fit. I ended up getting a guard from a dentist. I never got my money back, so I’m out of $90. I loved the idea, and I was thinking that this product would work, but sadly it didn’t. I hope it worked for someone else.

I bought this night guard on my dentist recommendation. I guess I grind my teeth while I sleep. This product worked EXCELLENT until I washed my mouth with Listerine. It made the guard shrink! I can no longer use it.It does come with instructions not to use any products containing alcohol. I used a swish as a habit right when I woke up and it ruined my guard. Very sad that I did that because I have to buy a new kit now.Just don’t use any alcohol on the guard and you will love it!

Snug at first but got used to it. Best compared to others I’ve purchased on this platform. Thin but strong. Works great!

The molding wasn't feeling so fitting. On my front top two teeth, there an extra space in the center so there's minor imperfections.(One month later)The retainer cracked and now I'm in need of a new one. I emailed the company to see if they would be able to assist me in this. Will keep this review updated.

I finally found the right product. The mold kit is easy to use and does not make a mess. The ability to select the thickness of the finished product was essential to getting what I wanted: a fitted night guard stronger than my whitening trays that was custom made for my mouth. The turnaround time was fast and the end product was just what I wanted. So good I plan on ordering a backup and a lower guard as well.

It does the job but not as comfortably as I had hoped. It makes my front teeth hurt.

The product and service are OUTSTANDING! A few years ago my dentist made an upper mouthguard to help with my tooth grinding at night. That guard fit well but cost me well over $300. It began wearing out earlier this year and I did not want to spend that kind of money again, so I tried one of those "mold it yourself" kits - very inexpensive but for me totally useless. My gums are sensitive and I need a soft thin material like the one I had received from my dentist. I contacted Impact Nightguards and they recommended a soft 2mm material. I wanted to try an even lighter material and it did not fit well, and Impact immediately replaced the mouthguard with what they had initially recommended. I had questions regarding the imprint process and they were immediately responsive by text and email. When the first mouthguard arrived and I realized that I needed what they originally recommended they immediately remade my unit at no additional charge. Their customer service is outstanding and my new Impact mouthguard feels and fits better than my original dental supplied unit. I am so pleased that I found this service and grateful that I have a reliable and inexpensive source for future Mouthguards.
