We wanted to try this and see if it’s easier than using a rock. My husband has found the exact spot on the fish and gets them in 1 quick jab. He feels better doing it that way. It did take a few fish to learn right where to go and what angle. We have not used the long part that goes down their spine.

I bought this for when I fish for trout and grayling. I am not good at knocking them on the head. This is so much more humane. They die instantly. The instructions are all in Chinese and Japanese so definitely watch a video on how to use the device. The poor instructions would be my only complaint. And I've only stabbed myself once!

It's flimsy and very short. It would only work with a small fish. I tried it on a few 2lb or so rainbow trout and it was a joke. Won't buy again.

This is a great little dispatching kit. Kills fish quickly and I have to guess pretty painlessly. Awesome tool for humanely dispatching smaller fish and keeping your haul fresher for longer, as long as you bleed the fish correctly.

Was excited to give this a try for a more humane fish harvest. Unfortunately the wire does not insert easily into some fish like Pike and Bass. It was hard to find just the right spot consistently and the metal piece often bends preventing proper insertion. Disappointed and some fish harvested suffered more than they should have in the process

Purchased this for my boyfriend and he loved it. Could not wait to put it to use and when he did he was very satisfied with the result. It is very durable for the way you have to use it. He was excited to have it and I would purchase again.
