Let the magic smoke out - Should have paid more attention
So...I did a search for 120 V gear motor and this motor turned up and I bought it. Yeah I know...it says 12V right in the listing I should have paid more attention.I can tell you this motor will take 120V AC and run properly for about 0.5 seconds...at which point the magic smoke comes out and it won't work anymore. Now, funny thing, they actually make this same motor for 120V. I bought that one and it works great. So...yeah. That happened.

Doesn’t work. No torque
Bought this to replace a motor rated with less torque. Being this supposedly has more torque I thought it would work great. But the motor consistently gets stuck and reverses. Wasted my money on this.

2 x Did Not Work
Received one and easily installed. Didn't run so exchanged. Second one wouldn't work either.

Was broken
Was broken when I received it. I returned it and received a credit. I'm still looking for one but with different dimensions.
