I had one plate that looked like the pictures displayed in all displayed examples called “Starry Night”. The rest looked a dreary fog bank like the one I uploaded here. I could have handled one or two a bit off-colored, but 5 out of 6? Their QC should be better. Not anywhere on Amazon’s product description does it mention color variations. I expected 6 Starry Night dinner plates. I got 1 and 5 misty to foggy. Congratulations to those who received what they expected. I certainly did not. Truly disappointed.Though I will say they are very sturdy quality ceramics so far. We will see.I looked at the reviews on FaceBook and their return policy leaves something to be desired. So I suppose I will take it on the chin and reconsider replacing my dinnerware through Vicrays.

These are really pretty! Exactly what I was looking for. Be aware that the coloring may vary from plate to plate, one of mine was quite a bit lighter than the others. But on the table setting it's not really noticable, I think they're lovely.

The dark blue is the perfect color for grilling steaks and salmon, with some veggies on the side, oh perfect! Definitely recommend!

I was up in the air between this product and a few others, such as stoneware products. In the end, I felt this porcelain bowl will perform better and be lighter than a stoneware bowl. The first time my daughter used it her comment was, "Wow the bowl isn't hot!" when she took it out of the microwave. Our old stoneware bowls would get hot, so I feel I made the right choice. I'll update you later if I change my mind about them.

Out of the other plates I browsed for, these plates caught my eye at a glance. No second thoughts, I ordered. It looks more beautiful than the picture. It’s elegant & unique. Vibrant color. Good quality plates. I am very pleased with this purchase.

These plates are midnight blue with lots of shine and glittery glaze. The thick feel of these plates feels like old world pottery but the high gloss and ripple texture take it to another level. Really happy with this set easy to clean and really nice curve around the edge.

UPDATE: They won me over. I almost returned them without trying, I am so glad I gave these plates a chance. They are gorgeous and the bumps don't bother me one bit while I"m eating. They are on the heavy side but not one has chipped yet so they may actually last! The best customer service I've had in years. I really like this company and will continue to buy theyre impressive products.These plates are gorgeous! Stunning actually. The coloring in the glaze makes it appear like its holding a galaxy. Its something you have to see, theres no way a picture can capture the depth. They are a nice size but I'd prefer bigger, I'm weird and don't like my food touching. The bumps in the glaze are throwing me and I can't decide how I feel about them. They are smooth enough but I'm a touch OCD and expect my eating surface to be smooth. Maybe they will help distribute juices or sauce?? I can't decide if they are gorgeous enough to make up for the bumps? If you are going for a stunning presentation these are the ones, if you are anal maybe stick to the bowls, they look even better than the plates! I just got them so I'm not sure about durability.

While the plates were a bit expensive, and a bit deeper than I intended (not as flat as they look) I personally think they were worth it.I LOVE THESE PLATES! Just a really cool hammered -looking design, great color. Love the paint spackle and smooth texture. The double ring on the underside is an added bonus and gives more stability, plates don't slide around.Any complaints I have are quibbles. All in all 5/5 stars, great plates, would buy deeper bowl versions of these if available.

Awesome quality price and I truly like the look. I cook often in the oven and this plates are perfect for it!

Plates look great, and don't feel cheap as they do have some weight to them. I'd definitely buy them again if I ever need to.
