A great basic mechanical pencil that can be reloaded with new 'leads' ( if you want to) as long as you don't completely wear down the eraser that acts as a cover for the new 'leads' that you'd put in. This 'BIC' design is quite robust and functional for adults and kids alike. The 0.7 mm diameter writing tips are just right for jotting stuff down with. If you lose one so what ? Just use another. There is none of that precious elitism that the possession of a posher mechanical pencil might introduce and the 'BIC' does exactly the same task just as well.Eamonn

These pencil are just so popular and dissappear very quickly on receipt, so I made sure I stuck one in my shirt pocket. The pencils are disposable, but I buy the leads and refill. The pencil will last me a long time and costs very little which is great. I've had more expensive mechanical pencils, but the mechanism seems to stop working after a short while, these Bic pencils don't let you down.

Avoid hunting for a pencil sharpener and smudged schoolwork by using these - children will love the novelty and adults will love the much neater writing they produce.Happy with how these have turned out, my childrens' handwriting is much improved and a lot sharper and clearer, with no more fuss about pencil sharpening.

These automatic pencils are a delight to use and I love the bright colours. I think they should add even more colours to the range, one for every mood.

These have a comfortable grip and write smoothly. Lately, I have been finding pencils keep breaking when sharpening them and I seem to spend more time sharpening than writing. These pens are the perfect answer at an affordable price.
