Put this in a fude nib pen for sketching and it is breathtaking! It does smudge a little after drying, but it is so beautiful alone, I don't feel the need to watercolor with it. And the bottle is very heavy and nice. It will be a pleasure to display on my table!

I was looking for a bold turquoise ink for use with my glass dip pens, and I found it too thin and watery. It would blot badly for the first few characters, no matter how I tapped it and tried to remove excess, and I wasn't happy with the pale mark it was leaving on the paper. And it would be gone again very quickly from the pen when I hadn't written much. HOWEVER, when I put it into a fountain pen, I found it to work beautifully. And it is labeled as "fountain pen ink." So if you take that seriously, it's a fine product. Slightly thicker inks work better with the glass dip pens.

I have finally found the Peacock Ink I have been looking forward to. It's a wonderful change from using black or blue. The color is true and clear. It is a smooth writing ink. Love it.
