Average guy says: If you love 'nilla wafers', you'd like these. The word biscuit does apply. They are large, flat, mild, crunchy and delicious. They are plain, simple, very mild vanilla tasting cookies. Good 'digestives', good for ice cream or hot drinks, I'd say. The price is right, I'd buy them again, and I recommend them for anyone looking for a plain old (ornate) cookie without a lot of sugar or even flavor to it. A good adult cookie. Any mention of bittersweet or any other flavors must surely be overstated. Blank canvas. Slightly addictive. Good aftertaste. I keep finding myself eating them. I did my best to describe the subtlety of this cookie.

Chocolatey but not too sweet and totally delicious. Crisp, great with hot cocoa, tea or coffee. The cookies would work great for Refrigerator No Bake Cakes. Also, the chocolate variety is more tender than the original plain biscuit, there is a big difference IMO. Highly recommended.

They have a good chocolate flavor, but they are dry. Have something to drink nearby before you eat them.

Marie biscuits have always been a go-to snack in my home, since my childhood. Usually I stock up on them at the Indian store but I ran out (thanks pregnancy cravings!). I discovered these on Amazon and am so happy that I won't have to make a grocery run just to get these!Compared to the very popular brand sold in India these are slightly smaller and thicker but the crisp snap is still perfect. These taste slightly more "whole grain"; there's a slight wheatish taste that is leaning a bit toward the "digestive" biscuits taste but it is not unpleasant. The mild sweetness that I expect is present and while I haven't yet dunked it in a cup of chai, I have high hopes. Oh and as a bonus these turned out cheaper than the Indian store ones.

Always watching my weight but crave cookies and couple of these good tasting cookies hit the spot.. Have experimented using one square chocolate, pillow marshmallow with cookie above and below in micro for version of s’mores. Very nice taste..no wonder I can’t lose weight, . Think kids will enjoy as well with peanut butter and jelly or cream cheese. Really nice and satisfying.

These aren't what we North Americans would call cookies. They are crackers. Thin and crisp. Nice crackers. However, there isn't much flavor to them. Even though the say they're chocolate, I could use them for cheese and they'd work fine. No one would now the cheese crackers are supposed to be chocolate cookies.
