-Skip to "(4)" for quick conclusion-(1) Issues with the paperI purchased this paper because I enjoyed working with the Type A Deleter paper, so I wanted to try the blank Type B. Because the Type A is off-white, I made this purchase expecting this paper to be off-white, too, but I really hoped that it wasn't. Unfortunately, working with off-white paper makes Copic Marker colors a bit darker which is a problem when working with lighter colors, especially skin tones like E000 Pale Fruit Pink.(2) Why I recommendHere's the thing that doesn't make this terrible, though: Copic markers are not archival because they're meant for reproduction. This means that it is assumed that the consumer will scan their artwork and digitize it for reproduction purposes. If this is the case, then it is easy to edit the scan and make it brighter.(3) Other options (Copic Xpress-it)Now, if the off-white is still a problem, I recommend the Copic Xpress-it Blending card. There is a 5 sheet option of amazon (I'll link anything I mention at the bottom of my review), it was only $5 when I made my purchase. This way you can try the paper before purchasing the pack of 120 sheets. I already wrote a review on the 5-sheet pack if you want to know how it works but to make it short, it works just as good as this deleter paper, only it's true A4 size and is bright white, like printer paper. I recommend trying that one along with this paper to know which one you prefer. I stated in that review that purchasing three packs of deleter paper (120 sheets total) will cost you between $30-40 and the pack of 120 sheets of Xpress-it Blending Card will cost almost $60. Still, try the Deleter and the pack of 5 sheets of Copic Xpress-it Blending Card that I linked to see which one you prefer. If you find that you prefer the Copic Xpress-it, as I did, then $20 isn't a big deal for a paper that you love working on.(4) ConclusionONE LAST TIME, this paper is fantastic, but it is not bright white.
