Stopped working after a few months.
Loved the sharpener but then it quit working after a few months. Was hoping it would last longer.

Save your money!
Mine is about 8 months old and it does not sharpen anymore. It worked great at first, but now nothing. It still spins but pencils come out looking exactly the same. I have tried to clean it, replaced the batteries, and different types of pencils. A pencil sharpener that I got on sale from Staples two years ago does a better job than this!

This pencil sharpener miserably failed my test. I was taking on a trip where electricity was not an option handily so wanted one battery wise. Motor turns, but the sharpener does nothing. The only time it did do anything was when I first initially put my pencil in, and it promptly broke the lead off!

Stopped working
Stopped working after 2wks. Tried a second set of new batteries. I suspect the motor is shot. it's nothing more than a paperweight or stationary sharpener now. I'm extremely saddened with the quality of the pencil sharpener. I'll need some time to process this grief.

Except It Stopped Working in 6 months
Beautiful piece that I hoped would last for a long time. Changed batteries, cleaned the blades, took it apart to check everything. Nope -- won't go. Hope I can get my money back and look for another model.

The media could not be loaded. I tried a good brand of batteries, (the first ones in the video were a generic store brand) and now it works way better than before, at least for writing pencils. (I will try to get an updated clip tonight, if I can’t remove the original one I posted.My gripe now is that it doesn’t work for color pencils, and they break in it.That is why I upped from one to three stars.
