Q: What are the best razor blades for this please? I keep nicking myself and wonder if the Derby ones I got are not great for more sensitive skin?

I bought this for my husband and he uses it with Astra blades with good success. He was recommended to watch a few videos on double edge shaving before he started as the technique is different to regular razors. The YouTube videos were helpful as he was getting a few nicks at the start but not anymore.

There are VERY few companies who make a stainless steel head for a DE Razor. One is Rockwell. Their Stainless Steel Razor is approx £100. It is extremely difficult to make the razor head out of stainless steel. You will however find a number of razors with Stainless Steel handles. If your hoping that a £16.99 Razor is going to have a SS head your going to be disappointed. You may find a brass head with chrome plating. Zamac is used a lot by the shaving industry and has been for years

Q: Best way to store this? Usually use a case for my other razor

You can use the box it comes with or by a travel case for it. Best is to store it in a dry place so that the blades don't rust.

Q: Are there different settings or adjustments? Or is a blade inserted and you tighten completely?

You tighten completely. If you didn’t and the blade was allowed to move, it would likely cut your skin.
