I’ve been looking for the right lunch container for my kids, this is perfect. I like the size, easy snap clips, fits in kids lunch bag. I especially like the double layer; it keeps food warm longer than typical containers. I can take 2 layers apart and wash them throughly without water being trapped in between.

As far as I know, this product is okay.Forget the first review. After one use, the top on this product broke. I am disappointed when I asked if a new lid could be sent. They told me they could but the rubber aroudn the lid had to be saved????????????? Too late, the lid was thrown away as it broke! Tacky! Buyer is expected to re-insert some rubber part of the lid! For the price of this item, forget it! Will never order from them again. If a six year old girl can break this product by taking the lid off, that's pretty sad!

Lunch box is good but lid quality is very bad ..broken in one week after purchase.

I've looked a long time for a solution to pack my children's lunches, who generally eat warm rice dishes, pasta, and thick soups made from home. I used to pack them into a thermos, and then they'd move the food into a wide tupper to eat from. It wasn't feasible of course to keep doing that. The shape is perfect to eat directly from, containers are easy to wash in the dishwasher, lids open easily, and a bonus is if you buy the smaller size containers too, which I have for snacks, the lids are interchangeable. To keep food warm a few hours (and I emphasize warm, your expectations shouldn't be piping hot), I zip them into a padded sleeve with a zipper like the kind that protects a tablet. I would encourage the company to offer one as well. When I pack liquids, I line the top with plastic wrap and pop on the lid, but only because I'm paranoid. The seal is very tight!

Containers are cute and sized appropriately for young children’s lunches but all four of the lids snapped after one or two uses. Complete waste of money and the most nondurable containers I’ve ever bought.

This container is very sturdy, yet easy enough for a per-schooler to open. It washes easily, and is totally leak-proof.It can keep dense food lukewarm, not really hot, but overall it does a really good job at keeping the food until lunch.

Great quality and I like the high but not the length and cannot storage lunch food. Only snacks

I bought this for my preschooler's lunch and just came back to buy a second for my older son. Of all of the stainless steel containers that we have tried, this one is by far the most user friendly.Most importantly, my 4 year old can easily open and close it on his own. That means that I can use my preferred container without driving the preschool teacher bonkers - who can open lunches for 24 kids at once? Also, he can close it firmly by himself so I don't have food sloshing around in his lunchbox to clean at the end of the day.The silicone seal is removable, but seems to be seated really well. The interior stainless piece is removable, I usually toss that in the dishwasher and wash the lid quickly by hand.I could live without the exterior plastic part that the stainless "box" sits in, but the lid doesn't work without it. Overall, it's not a hassle at all and doesn't come into contact with the food.Update 4/2013: Our 2 containers are still going strong after 6 months. They go to school every day, bounce around in his backpack, then go through the dishwasher every night. The seals are still holding very well - overall they're just like new. We've been washing both pieces in the dishwasher for a long time with no problems at all. If we ever need more, I'll be back for these. I don't see a need to replace these for a long, long time.
