Easy Set Up
This sandbox was simple to put together with easy to follow directions. It’s not the most solid, high quality sand box, but it is a good little box for the price and my 4 year old enjoys it. I like that it has a top to go over it which keeps all the dirt and leaves out. The canopy is nice for hot days and keep the sun off my son while he’s playing. I wanted to buy a more “clean” option for sand then the dusty cheap brands you find at Lowe’s and HomDepot- they do have options such as kinetic sand and sand with no nasties in it, but for a 50lb bag you are spending quite a bit. Any sand will work in here and 2-3 50 lb bags at $3-$4 (or go to the beach and grab some for free!) this will keep your kiddos busy for hours. Love to see my son off the screen and outside playing and getting dirty!

Super cute - nice sized canopy, too!
This is a great little sandbox. It's definitely not one that will last years and years under the FL sun, but it should be able to be enjoyed for a few seasons at least. It was pretty easy to put together - comes with instructions that are simple but explain all the necessary steps well. It's made of lighter weight wood, which is what makes me question if it will hold up after multiple rainy summers. The design of it is adorable - it holds quite a bit of sand (so make sure you budget for that...you'll need at least 4-5 bags, depending on what size you get). The canopy is nice and covers the whole box, so there's shelter from the heat in there. It's adjustable and tilts easily, depending on the direction of the sun. It does appear to be UV resistant too, which is nice. The wood is treated, so no worries about splinters etc for the little ones.It does fold down nicely for easy storage, too, so that is an added benefit. You can easily put this on a deck or in the garage. For $99, you definitely get your money's worth of fun from this and depending on where you live and what kinds of elements it will be exposed to...it should last you for a while if it's taken good care of. I would definitely not leave this out past fall and risk snow on it/in it, or even in the dead of summer where it rains everyday (if you're in FL, you know what I mean)

Cute, kids love it, but they're a pros and cons
As you can see, this is a well-used and much loved addition to our backyard. However, as the adults that have to manage this item, there are some pros and cons you should consider. For example, the first thing I will tell you is since there is no bottom your kids can be as creative as they want like flipping it over. Also. That makes it very lightweight so if it is also prone to being moved with wind. Now you might say to yourself, oh that's easy fix. You can just lower the cover. We have four kids ranging from 2-8. I've made it out to lower it a couple of times, but, sometimes I'm more worried about what's going on in my house then whether or not it's windy enough to knock over my sandbox. The lid isn't hard to lower, but it's just wide enough that I'm not able to reach both knobs to loosen it at the same time. So sometimes it can be a little sticky if the cover gets uneven while you're moving it up or down. We've considered mounting it to a bottom to make it heavier with the sand to avoid some of the tipping and lightweight problems, we just haven't found time to try that yet. It's propensity to get tipped over by kids or weather that it has taken some damage as the wood he just have proved prone to injury.Overall, it's a cute sandbox and I do like how you can lower the cover, and for the price. It was a perfect fit for our backyard, but there are some considerations depending on the veracity of your children and the windiness of your yard.

Perfect for 5 and under
Our little 1 year old little neighbor is loving this. We quickly and easily put this together for him this afternoon. He is having a ball in it. We picked up the sand at lowes yesterday once we confirmed the delivery with the USPS for today. This perfect for any youngster and remember you will have $30 in sand in addition to this.

Didn’t even hold up a month!
The top is almost impossible to open and close, the fabric is saggy already, and the bottom (fabric and cardboard) is falling apart…

Fun sandbox but has some cons
Pros: Easy to put together. Lightweight, has been pretty durable with holding up to PNW rains. Top is convenient and a nice addition for the bad weather. Lots of fun for the kids when sand toys are added. Holds lots and lots of sand. The blue top looks goods and adds a nice pop of color.Cons: The bottom is just a cloth and easily rips. One of the kiddos friends decided to dig her nails into it until it caused a hole within only days of having it. It would have been better if it had a much sturdier bottom, like if the sandbox had a wooden bottom as well and it was all one piece, or even if the bottom was made out of the same cloth as the canopy. It could have been better.Because it’s a flimsy and unattached bottom, the sandbox could easily be moved or sand escape if it’s not on a completely flat surface, and in my opinion the sandbox shouldn’t be moved so easily. The cover is a canopy instead of two attached wooden flaps that fold down or a piece of wood that can be removed and replaced. The canopy is inconvenient because it can only go so high and an adult or taller kid will hit their heads when trying to stand up. It’s also just a little too wide for my arm span to lower both sides at the same time, so one side either has to be completely loosened and then it slams down when trying to close it or you loosen it a little bit and you have to move to both sides shimmying it down if you don’t have a second person. It’s really inconvenient to do that versus having, say, a lid that turns into seats when opened and covers the sandbox when folded back down. It should have seats so kids booties and clothes don’t get all sandy.Edit: after a couple months, wood holding the canopy up split, so now there’s no support and the canopy just sits on top of sandbox
