This saw stays razor sharp well made
I have many uses for a sharp saw in my taxidermy shop making platforms cutting trim works well,and very well made!

Excellent saw
Excellent saw for the money. I find myself reaching for this saw more than my Japanese ryoba. Compared to the ryoba type pull saw this is a better all around saw, in my opinion. I do, however, find the ryoba better at fine work.

Cuts and feels great out of the box
I finally needed a proper wood saw for thicker lumber and I figured I might as well get something that I can resharpen later rather than a disposable hardpoint from the big box home store. I cut through some 1 3/4 inch thick african mahogany this afternoon and it performed great. Handle feels pretty comfortable. Steel seems like high quality and the teeth are sharp and ready to cut right out of the box. Feels like they will last awhile before needing resharpening. The plastic teeth guard is handy too though I'm not sure how long that'll hold up. Highly recommended!

Great saw and you can sharpen it so you don't have to throw it out!
You have two choices with saws these days Hardpoint and fileable. Do you want to just use it and throw it away? Get hardpoint.Do you want a saw that will last that you can resharpen or change the way it cuts? This is a fantastic saw. Great for ripping
Update: A year and a half later this is still my go to for ripping. It's a beast. Replaced the plastic handle with one I made from oak.This is a fantastic saw. Great for ripping, and with a delicate hand, can crosscut. The fact this saw can be resharpened gives it long lasting life in my shop.
