Nice pen but Missing black Ink, piston convertor and instructions
Both inks are blue, no piston convertor included. The pen deserves more stars. The three are due to missing items. Instructions not in box. Second one we have purchased. This first had what was advertised. This one did not. Color of pen is nice but is more beige grey then described. Seller: please send me the piston convertor, black ink and instructions or share if I just need to return it.

I collect fountain pens. This Sheaffer writes and balances nicely; the cap stays posted properly. Good value for the price.

Love this pen! What a pleasure to write with a fine writing instrument instead of a ballpoint pen from Walmart.

Lovely pen
It's heavier than I expected but a fine writer. A nice flow of ink providing a pleasure in writing.

Disappointing
Pretty disappointed with with this pen. I have the ballpoint version and the rollerball version and like the pen, but also like a fountain pen and had a Sheafer Taranis , but thought I would buy this fountain pen to have a matching set. I like the robust quality and weight in the pen. Unfortunately, the cartridge does not fit properly / securely in the fountain pen and it leaks badly . ( I use the converter / refillable style but also tried actual cartridges ). Also, when writing, it sometimes smudges - a problem I never have with the Taranis or my Parker Urban ( also a good pen).

Great nib, poor ergonomics
Excellent nib. Smooth, wet and bordering on a Japanese Medium. Hold a good amount of ink in proprietary cartridge.Issue is the weight and length. The cap is extremely heavy and cannot be posted without making the pen back heavy. You will have to hold the pen slight away from the nib as the nib and pen is short for big hands. And since it cannot be posted, makes it difficult to write for long sessions.If you have small hands, its a good buy. Beautiful Sheaffer nib. Otherwise, I would give this a miss as most people won't find it comfortable to write with due to the length and weight.
