No good
The quality of the part is great. But fitting it as a riders back rest is no good. Due to the standard handle bars on the 1100 rebel, the reach is to far and no point in having it. Only if modified it will work, or if you out apr hanger handle bars on the bike. But then all of the cables will have to be changed for longer ones.So as a rider back rest. Don’t bother unless your willing to spend a lot more money.

Robust material
Sissy bar materials is nice and thick and does not look flimsy. The only dislike is the bolt that came with the product should have been black not chrome.

Fits to be a driver backrest
Fits the Rebel 1100 as a driver backrest, making for a much more comfortable ride. 4 stars bc they could have made the cushion adjustable for where you want for placement on your back.
