Works with 3070 and Oculus Rift
I wanted an adapter to connect my Oculus Rift to the NVIDIA 3070 which has only 1 hdmi and 3 dp ports. The hdmi was already in use so I needed an adapter. I tried passive ones but didn't work. This was the cheapest active that actually worked!

As advertized, DisplayPort to HDMI adapter
I purchased this adapter to be able to connect my belkin docking station DP port to the Samsung monitor with HDMI port. straight to the point, works out of the box. now i have the USB-C port in the laptop free to use with external SSD.monitor runs on expected resolution of 1920x1080Packing is moderate but product is in good shape and quality.

Works Perfect for LG Ultra-wide Monitor
We purchased this for one for one of our workstations that we were upgrading to dual LG Ultrawide monitors. The only options on the work station was one HDMI and one Display port. The HDMI would display the 2560 by 1080 perfect but no display port cable was capable of doing so. It was simple plug and play with this adapter and an HDMI cord and the 2560 by 1080 resolution was available to be selected. Worked perfect thus far!

I bought specifically for Rift CV1 VR to convert to Display port on GPU
A different adapter that I tried did not work for my old Rift VR headset but his one works as it is an Active one or so the forums said. I bought this particular and yes it works for the specific use I need it for to adapt my VR rift CV1 to display port on my GPU . Perfect !
