Great upgrade
I upgraded the old broadcom wifi module in my HP laptop with this and it worked like a charm. Both Bluetooth and wifi were recognized by Linux immediately.

Notoriously bad wifi card - Avoid at all costs!
This card plagues laptops made by Lenovo, HP, and others. Just go check reddit for the comments on it. Despite frequent driver updates, the card is prone to slow downs and completely stopping requiring the user to stop and restart the driver when under high load. Users have reported switching off the AX functionality seems to make it more stable, but that is a significant price to pay in performance itself just to stop the card bugging out. Save yourself, and look for a different card - a note to the wise, the Intel equivalents work for a number of folks, but only with an intel motherboard that supports CNVio2 an intel standard that uses Intel chipsets to offload work from the card. If you have an AMD motherboard they won't work and in that case make sure you get a PCIe equivalent card. Check reddit and other forums for advise including your laptop manufacturer.
