I liked it because it's made out of wood and had a warm tone. I didn't like it because he was too quiet not enough of a signal. I wanted to leave it on all the time to keep from peeling it off over and over again. Problem is the volume knob stuck up too much I couldn't stick in the case with it on the guitar.

I just wanted to try this on my Upright Bass and see if the sound was OK. It is so great!! And nice thing is that it has a volume control so while playing the Bass I can adjust the volume for the song. Much better than I expected. I now have a wireless Plug I can use to the S1 for ANY microphone, and plugs into S1 and into a guitar. And this allows me to use another portable amp (Maybe another S1) for the Bass. I could now take these to the middle of a corn field and play and sing with a Bass. No power cords needed. Doubt I'll ever use it that way, but Cool that I can :-)

I like the portability of the device.
