Good value and excellent customer support from manufacturer.
I bought the KC100 to go along with my XTOOL D8 so I could program key FOBs into my Mini. What really won me over was the manufacturer's excellent customer support. I had a few specific tasks I needed a scanner to be able to perform on my 2011 Mini Countryman N18 and BMW does not always make things easy to DIY. I contacted XTOOL via email to ask if the D8 could do what I needed and received a prompt and courteous reply, and they were able to confirm that functionally against my VIN# and let me know I would need the KC100 to read the FOB ID#s in. Being able to program in two $25 FOBs from eBay rather than paying dealership prices more than paid for the cost of the KC100.

since i purchased this product it hasnt programmed a single key. went to tech support and no help there.
