Im impressed
Ive had the reel for a couple years and always liked it but never really had to push its limits. A few days ago i caught a few big over slot Snook including a 43" slob. Fought them against the tide and was able to pull them out from under the bridge pillings. The reel was super smooth with the drag about hammered down. *%*#%^# fantastic!

Returned my Saragosa
I was torn between these reels, a Spheros and Saragosa of the same size, so I bought both, and after a few weeks of fishing, I realize there's very little difference between these reels at least at the 6,000 size.I know I haven't spent much time on these reels, but here's my observation so far.I've fished both reels every day for that period, both on a medium heavy rod and heavy rod, and I gotta say, I felt very little difference between the two, I was able to battle pretty much the same fish with no noticeable difference, which made me realize one thing that I had been pondering that whole time, whether it was worth keeping the Saragosa, which is double the price..Basically, I fish a 3,000, 4000, 6000, and really want a 18000 or so for my heavy rod, and honestly, it feels like the 6,000 Spheros is just as good as a saltwater reel as the Saragosa, but half the price. At the 18000 range, the Spheros is about $200 and Saragosa is around $300, which - at that point, might be a better buy given it'll be used in deep waters and bigger fish - but given that the 6000 versions are just as good, I could kinda assume the 18000 is just as good too, but if money weren't a thing, the 18000 at $300 might be the way, but overall, at least as far as 6,000 goes, if money matters to you, I can personally vouch for the Spheros over the Saragosa at least up to 6,000.Don't get me wrong, Saragosas are absolutely awesome, probably the best you'll get at that price range, besides maybe a BaitRunner, but the next step up really is Twin Power & Stellas.

Works fine, bought like new but wasn’t
I got this like new but it came a bit dusty, with some tape on, and a little bit of unknown gunk. It works fine, but definitely not as well as a completely new one.

Great reel but was surprised by manual bail.
I seriously thought the bail Spring was broken until I read it was a manual bail reel. I’m keeping it and will get used to it. I love the reel so far, and was chucking 2 and 3 oz spoons 100yds on a 9 foot rod….in my neighborhood Lake. People thought I was crazy! Can’t wait to test it for “reel”.
