I purchased this pole spear to remove sucker fish from the river that flows through my property (being they’re invasive) and soon realized how much fun they’re are I started going for larger more robust Carp!I only own the spear for 24 hours before bagging numerous sucker fish and carp! UNTIL One fish was so large it ripped the pole right out of my hands and took it to the dark depths of no return! If you’re going for a bigger fish or in deep water, find a way to tie this thing off! I learned my lesson this time! Had it only 24 hours! That would be nice if they just sent me another one for free because I loved it so much.. talk about a blast!! BUY IT

Very versatile and packs nicely. Great travel polespear for lionfish hunting. I’ve bought a lot of these and leave them for my dive guides and they hold up well for the price.

I didn't even get this disappointed, not only did the package arrive late causing me to miss it for my trip but it also came WITHOUT the 3 Prong Barb!

Yup~I’ll be using the different set-ups for hunting fish and coconut crabs traveling to the tropics; I’m so excited looking forward eating my first coconut crab and fish using the spearfishing gear.

Spear tip fell off after a 20 minute dive. The sections have to be continually tightened - very annoying. The first time I received it, the company sent two middle sections and didn't include the rear section with the hole for the rubber attachment. Had to wait for the rear section to be shipped before I could even use it. I'll be using locktite to keep it from falling apart again which defeats the purpose of having a disassemble-capable pole spear...that is after I buy another spear tip...

Good spear individually pieces constantly need to be re-tightened but other that good spear execpt i would recommend a single tip. The barb dulls very fast
