This item come with missing instruction probably was multiple returns Everything inside looks awful. The paper to protect the parts was broken.and multiple layers of tape seal

The media could not be loaded. This brushed nickel shower valve trim set from Grohe contains just the handle, valve, escutcheon and ferrule for a bathroom shower. It does not come with the shower head or arm, nor does it have a diverter for use as the controller for a tub/shower combo. And, of course, it lacks a tub spout. Finally, you will need a Grohe rough-in valve behind this unit in the wall (https://www.amazon.com/Grohe-35015001-Grohsafe-Universal-Rough/dp/B018IO6152/).Grohe stands with hansgrohe, American Standard, Delta, Moen and a few other manufacturers at the top of the plumbing fixture value/quality ladder. They're not the most expensive maker of fixtures, but their fixtures can't be beat in functional quality. There are more avant gard designs, there are more unique looks, but Grohe won't be beaten on quality of valves and finishes or longevity of fixtures.This is an elegant fixture. Check out the thickness of the escutcheon when you get it! Have you ever seen a thicker metal cosmetic in a plumbing fixture? It's built like a tank.

Nice and solid. It is simple yet elegant looking. Shiny and sleek. I have known the brand for some time and is a familiar name. This gives my shower a couple a nice upgrade in looks and hopefully, longevity.

Something peculiar happened with my shower as of late. The water temperature became unendurable hot regardless of how I changed the control. I can accept that the virus water channel had inside the divider has become deterred in some way so that main to the max heated water is permitted through. As a makeshift measure, I brought down the warming limit of my heated water tank until I could perform significant medical procedure and supplant the blending valve inside the divider. I thought, I should redesign the outside control also to go with a greater blending plumbing installation while I was grinding away. I saw this Grohe that matched my Nickel completes so requested it. Each and every other pipes apparatus in my home has been exchanged over to Grohe and I am incredibly happy with their superior look and development. I haven't introduced this apparatus yet since it will require and does exclude the blending valve that is stowed away from view inside the divider and will require the most establishment exertion and time. I really do wish that valve was recorded in the Grohe advertising posting of this item to make it more straightforward for a customer to handily figure out what is required if essential. I genuinely want to believe that they right that. Be that as it may, the divider plate and installation are exceptionally significant as I would anticipate from Grohe and extremely alluring. You won't ever be baffled with Grohe items and this is no exemption. Top notch finish that looks and feels extraordinary.

Something strange occurred with my shower recently. The water temperature became unbearable hot no matter how I adjusted the control. I can only assume that the cold water inlet had inside the wall has become obstructed somehow so that only full blast hot water is allowed through. As a stopgap measure, I lowered the heating maximum of my hot water heater until I could do major surgery and replace the mixing valve inside the wall. I thought, I might as well upgrade the exterior control as well to accompany a higher quality mixing plumbing fixture while I was at it. I saw this Grohe that matched my Nickel finishes so ordered it. Every other plumbing fixture in my home has been switched over to Grohe and I am extremely satisfied with their premium look and construction. I haven't installed this fixture yet since it will require and does not include the mixing valve that is hidden from view inside the wall and is what will require the most installation effort and time. I do wish that valve was listed in the Grohe marketing listing of this product to make it easier for a consumer to easily determine what is required if necessary. I hope they correct that. But the wall plate and fixture are very substantial as I would expect from Grohe and very attractive. As always, highly recommended.
