The highest level is 33" if measured without sitting on it, but when you sit on it, it drops to 31" from your body weight. Tip: Ask for locking casters if available.

The _radius_ for one spoke is 15 1/2 inches... so the true diameter is 31 inches. But since it is five spokes, if you put two against a wall, the opposite perpendicular spoke come outs about 27 inches from the wall. So, radius of 31 inches to be able to rotate the base and 27 inches if you wedge it in somewhere as tight as possible.

Q: I think Manufacturer should give the exact measures of maximum and lowest high, with and without casters, so one is sure before buying. Right?

I agree. I purchased this chair for playing guitar. It says that it has a leg support when you raise the sit. "It ain't necessarily so". I would not buy this chair again as it does not meet my needs.

The chair seat is about 28" from the floor at its low settings.
