We got this to try it out as no one likes soggy socks. We have a very long and narrow master bath as it was an addition to the house. We moved our low pile carpeted mats down the length of the bathroom and now this sits immediately outside our shower and infront of our toilet. The soggy socks come in as he likes to shower in the morning where I shower at night to wash the days dirt off before getting into bed. His morning shower and my morning pee typically would leave me with soggy socks to be changed if I didn't make it to the bathroom first. I purposely got out of the shower without slicking any of the water off to give it a solid testing. Within about 3 minutes, it was dry. I had reservations about it being cold and hate having cold feet but it actually stays fairly warn despite being millimeters from a tile floor with the ac running hard in south Texas heat during the summer to maintain our home at 67°. My second worry was about out cat that likes to act like Godzilla on the war path sliding into this new hard mat and breaking it and the tile surrounding it. We have a step in shower stall so the tile goes up the wall a little bit to create the lip to keep water from coming out. The little anti-skid mat it came with has done a great job in the 2 months of having it. Not once have we or the cat shifted this mat even a little. We have super hard highly chlorinated water and at 2 months in we haven't had the need to clean it. No stains. Nothing. I've scrubbed the glass shower door 4Xs in the same time. The mat being made of diatomaceous earth has the added property of having millions of tiny microscopic points that kill insects. When one of our furry four legged family members gets fleas because we forgot their flea prevention, we rub food grade diatomaceous earth on them and dust the house with it. Fleas, silverfish, and other small bugs don't last long with this stuff. With the mat being made from DE, our cat loves to "be a fish" and love all over this thing. Her fur doesn't stick to it and she only lives inside bit she purrs like crazy and loves all over this bath mat. We love it and our cat approves too.

This mat does what it claims, looks good, and cleans easily enough. I would just like it to be larger. If you're stepping out of a tub, it's fine, but I have a shower with a door that swings. The water funs off the door and the door swings past the mat, so it just doesn't catch all the water I wish it would. Also, while this is fine for me, important to note is that it comes with two pads to use between it and the floor and a note indicating these are important for uneven floors so the mat doesn't crack. Our tiles are a little bumpy, but we haven't had problems. I would guess if your floor is too uneven, it might be more of an issue.

Love the way it dries up quickly. Obviously when it’s soaked in water, it would leave a little puddle. For the most part, it does what it’s supposed to do and it works out because my bathroom doesn’t have a window to air out the moisture.

Love this bath mat and love my dry bathroom floors. I had another brand and it curled up on me but not this one. Wish it were bigger but might just get a second to put next to this one.

The media could not be loaded. I have 3 white ones. 1 for the dog water/food, 1 for a bath mat and one for wet dishes. They absorb immediately so you don't have to worry about mold and washing. They are difficult to clean in terms of food grease or pb (dog mat) or dirty summer foot prints prior to a shower. A darker color would be best for those scenarios, otherwise would recommend. I will get one for my laundry room to use under clothes that need to air dry.

I ordered 2- the packaging states that it comes with an extra anti skid mat but neither one did. I contacted the company and had a wonderful customer service response and was offered some money back. The stone does what it says. It does absorb water and I’m really impressed how well it works. My main reason for 3 stars is that one of the stones cracked after 5 weeks.
