This is what quality feels like. It's worth the price, every bit.
I bought a cheaper brush a year ago, because it was cheaper, and I regretted it immediately. The bristles were glued into a plastic form that was glued onto a wooden paddle. Needles to say, it broke, fell apart, and was worthless garbage within months. So I finally invested in a Bass brush and now I know why they are worth the money. Solid construction that will last for decades, not months. Real bristles. No plastic. Just a perfect, well-made personal tool that does what it is designed to do. I use it for dry brushing and in the shower with natural soaps. The bristles are firm and may take getting used to for those new to dry brushing or accustomed to softer synthetic materials. My skin is clear and smooth with great circulation. Spend the money once and get quality, not over and over again on cheap stuff that winds up in landfills and the ocean.

This is a great bath brush.
I had one for years, and after a decade the bristles started to fall out and/or shorten, and the wood split, making the brush harsher on my skin and hands. Eventually I decoded the faded name on the handle, and bought a new one -- and it's great again. Long lasting, and with a soft texture on your skin, yet firm enough to scrub away the sweat and dirt. Well worth the money.Only drawback is that it isn't vegan -- it uses boar bristles. Which doesn't bother me, but might bother some people.

Great firm dry brush
This dry brush has taken my brushing to the next level. I have been brushing for a few months. I thought I was ready to go from a medium to a firm brush. This is that brush. I would not recommend first time brushes to start with this brush. It is very firm.I know the description says that this brush can be used in the shower. I'm not sure how it stands up to getting wet. My review is for using this as a dry brush. Generally, wooden handle brushes should not be used in the shower. The bristles will fall out if the wood gets wet. I have seen reviews for other dry brushes that people use in the shower. Then, they give it a horrible review because it falls apart. If that's what you're looking for, I would look for a plastic handle brush.I'm still on the fence about the curve. It does not take away from the use at all. It is just a bit odd when switching hands. I've only used hand held brushes up to this point. I'm sure it's just something I have to get used to.

Highly rated boar bristles
The only reason this gets a 4 instead of 5 stars is the base of the bristles turned almost black after hanging in the shower area for a week.I received no satisfactory answer calling Bass and they did not respond to my online support question about the condition of the brush.I don't believe it affects the use of the brush but it is unsightly.Bass Customer Service is hopeless thus far. When I first called I was referred to the FAQ page on their website. No answers there — I had checked, of course, before I called. Not good enough.

Arrived with handle cracked in half
I received the striped brush as pictured, but the handle was split in half along the grain of the bamboo. Will be returning and looking for a better quality brush.

Bad quality
Both brushes had some black ooze coiling out of it which might be the glue they use on these things. Looks nasty

The perfect shower brush.
The handle is perfect for reaching my back and the bristles have just the right feel, not too harsh or soft.

Finally!
I’ve been looking for a wet / dry brush for a while, and this is exactly what I wanted.A wet brush, without a handle so long that it was awkward in the shower.Good angle to reach your back, even if you’re not bendy. Dries quickly.Warning: it’s a bit brisk for a first time shopper, until the bristles break in a little. Go slow, but it’s worth it.
