Don’t look any further
These are excellent replacements. They’re lasting longer than the OEM ones did when they were new, and you can’t beat the price. I’m glad I found these.

Not working:
Not working for some reason. It states right on the battery that it works on Hero 5 black, however, it specifies that it is 3.85 V and the GoPro battery is 4.40 V. They are both 1220 mAh. Not sure if I need a different charger for these.

They work, just make sure you update the firmware on your camera.
I bought these to replace the aging OEM GoPro batteries in my Hero 5. Initially, I thought they were DOA until I contacted the manufacturer, who advised me to update the camera's firmware to the latest version. They work fine now. I have used Wasabi Power batteries on other devices for years, and they have performed well. At 9 bucks less than one original GoPro battery, these are good value for money. Remember to get the firmware update from GoPro's website and install it on the camera before using these.

Works great
At first these batteries didn’t work, but once we upgraded the software on our GoPro then the charged batteries worked fine.

GoPro batteries
1 battery worked and the other didn’t. Said it was fully charged but when i installed it the camera would freeze. Pulled battery and tried again will act like its working but says 0% battery.

A bad product.
Poor performance. I had to trash 2 (two!) of them so far, recently. Save your money.
