Amerex B456 ABC Dry Chemical Fire Extinguisher with Aluminum Valve, 10 lb. by Amerex Corporation

Please for the love of whatever, buy a quality fire extinguisher. Amerex has earned my trust, and I won't own any other brand.This 10lb might be a bit heavy for the entire family. I'd rather go with 2x 5lb extinguishers in any area you are considering a 10lb. The only place I'd put the 10lb is in the garage where I'm the most likely to use it.

Buying new is cheaper than paying for the 6 year testing.

I never understood why people don’t fight single story house fires as they start, but instead run outside waving their arms and “calling 911” so that the trucks arrive after the last ember burns itself out. I bought this extinguisher because if a fire occurs I’m gonna fight it. It’s a beast, must weight 20lbs. Fights all A-B-C etc.

Arrived in perfect order from seller, amsterdam depot, a day or two earlier than expected. I had 5 of these at my company for many years, and one in my truck. Only used one once. The guy that serviced them said they were the best and most reliable on the market. I got this one for my house and will be ordering another as well. Everone should have these in their homes, not the cheap brands from the box stores.

MY new 10 pound fire extinguisher came in perfect condition, packaging was perfect the price was amazing.

This brand was recommended to me by the technician who inspects our extinguishers so I trust it fully. Appears to be well made and easy to install.

Arrived in a perfectly fine outer box, but the box for the extinguisher itself was badly damaged. Appeared that it had been dropped on the valve end prior to being packed up and sent. Valve is broken and tank is empty. No way to return, so a waste of $100. Thanks a lot.

It did not come equipped with the materials to hang it with. It would be usedul is the wall anchor and screw were included.
