I have had Tims going back to the 90s. I bought several pairs of these in the early 2000s and they held up quite good -- for years. However, I bought a pair in 2018 and they did not last two years. It's so sad. These shoes are cheaply made. They look REALLY good and fit pretty well. But within one year the soles were wearing holes through them where the ball of my foot was, to the point where my feet were depressed in the boot. I have never had any shoes break down inside like these boots did. I was not even using them for work. I wore them to the office. Also, the rear pads started to tear open from just basic contact with my socks. I really love the look of these boots but it's a complete rip of for the price. These boots are not even worth $70, let alone twice that. As much as I like their look and classic style, I cannot justify buying another pair after how fast these broke down. They are Tims in name only now.

It usually takes a while to break in a new pair of leather boots, but the size 10.5w boots I ordered feel like some kind of weird blister inducing size 10.25 instead.So far they've held up for about a week of gruelling commercial nursery labor, so they're seemingly well built... But they're the tightest fitting pair of boots I've ever owned, and that's not a good thing in my line of work.

2013: The sizing was a little too large for me, but w/e I'll live with it.Only get wide IF!!!!!!! you actually have wide feet ....if you're more like...."Hmmm well I have long feet, so i guess that counts.." no, only get it IF!!! you have arguably wide feetOther than that, greatThis is 2018 me speaking, I still have these boots and they still work, they have plenty of rubber in the bottom left and I plan on taking them on a road trip in Canada since these have great insulation.

After shopping around to get these for my son I found Amazon to have the best price. Went by reviews that they ran large and ordered a half size smaller, but they ended up being tight. I returned them for his usual size and they are a perfect fit and have remained waterproof through a couple of snow storms already. Used amazon prime and both the original boots and replacement boots came in 2 days- return was easy and free through UPS.
