works as advertised
worked as advertised. Made a little street light controller for my son's shop. Needs to be in an enclosure IMO.

Excellent! Highly recommended
I took a chance with this for my new LED system that I'm hardwiring. I building several different LED system with different loads and have to say this is easily the best 24v transformer out of the different ones I've tried. It's not big, runs cool and easy to place and wire up. There cheaper ones and more expensive ones, but this one is my go to when for 1A draw and lower.Highly recommend and it's just too easy install and use. The price is great too.

Almost an exact replacement
I made a mistake eight years ago when I installed 200+ LED trims in our recessed ceiling cans. After about seven years, they begin failing. I had purchased 10 extras to account for that but they’re failing too fast now and you can’t find matching LED trims for seven year old, trim rings. Turns out the LEDs are fine , it’s the LED power supply drivers that are failing. 10 minutes, a solder pencil and some shrink wrap tubing, and we’re back in business. Only problem with these drivers is they won’t dim, not a showstopper as most of our recess cans are on straight switches.

Garbage
After running this for about an hour or so, my newly installed kitchen leds started flickering. Once I started troubleshooting I found this device had failed, from over heating after just under 2 hours.. I connected the other one and tested to see how many watts it was pulling as well as re-checking all connections are correct and connected well. My LED's (6ft total length) was pulling around 6watts. So this device overheated and failed within 2 hours and outputting 1/3 of what it's rated for. Garbage.

Never used it.
Didn’t work.

Good power supply for the price
Good little power supply, seems well build and supply correct voltage. There is a light that shines on the output terminal which I really like. I also like the long slim design

Doesn't cause my LED strip to flicker
I bought the 15W 24V version of these power supplies and they are great. A Fluke meter measures 23.9V at the output, while powering an LED strip that consumes 0.55A, ie. 87% of the rated load (0.63A). It doesn't cause my LED strip to flicker at 120 Hz, unlike another power supply (ASIN B08B13TLYD) that caused a very visible flicker. Finally, this power supply illuminates my LED strip in only 230-270 ms, as measured by counting 7-8 frames using a 30 fps camera between the moment the wall switch is pushed and the moment light appears. For comparison, I tested yet another power supply (ASIN B098Q2XHP7) that needed 500-1000 ms to illuminate my light, which was frustrating and confusing, as you push the switch and don't immediately see light coming out, so you wondered if you pushed the switch correctly...All in all I really like this power supply.Edit: I also bought the 20W 24V version (the one with the plastic housing, not aluminum shell) and it's a different story. It doesn't cause a 120 Hz flicker, however I measure a delay of 1100-1200 ms between supplying power and the moment my LEDs are. This is terrible. Far, very far from being an "instant on" power supply. Stick with the 15W version.

some are good, a few are unusable.
We use these in a product we sell to an OEM customer. Of those which we have ordered most are ok, fine, no problem. However a few have issues with the terminal strip, input in some cases, output in others. The problem involves the terminal screws being stripped. Brand new terminal strips which will not tighten or loosen, stripped from factory. We are trying to return two of these, to replace them, but returning is not so easy in this case. In future, we ill inspect each Power Supply the input an output terminals to confirm they are functioning, then return those which do not function, a hassle but such is life.
