These boots are surprisingly very comfortable right out of the box. There was no break in period for me just because of how good they fit. If you do not wear boots on a regular basis, your legs will feel tired from the weight of the boots. Other than that, they are comfortable bada$$ boots.

Not waterproof. Make sure you get ones that are if needed.

I try to buy a new pair each year. I work constantly. Weekends, weekdays long hours. These boots put up with abuse year after year.

Took a week to break in but after the week, they turned into the most comfortable boots I’ve owned. Sturdy as well so I feel they will hold up.
