I've now bought 4 of these altogether. I first bought one in a stationary and art supply store in Quebec, and was so excited when I found out I could order them on amazon. They were actually cheaper online.There has been no fault I've found with these. I love the grid size, and the quality of the paper is so great. It is not that thin that pens bleed through, the papers are sturdy.

I use these for work, and I go through one every six months. The size is perfect, the paper is thick and smooth for writing, and it always stays open to the page I leave it on. I bought the first one in Japan and was so happy to find them on Amazon! Great price for such a quality notebook, too.

Paper takes ballpoint or fountain pen, love that it lies flat, bright pop of colour for the cover means I never lose it on my desk.

紙質の良さは、さすがマルマンといったところ。手触り、書き心地、満点でした。あえて改善点をあげるとするなら、１マスサイズがちょっと小さいので、マスのサイズを 5mmにしてもらえると、他メーカーと共通化できるかな、というところです。

If you like smooth paper with a small grid so you can fill it up with tiny writing in ultra-fine-point gel pens, you should try one of these Maruman Septcouleur notebooks. They seem pricey, but they are fat with very smooth paper. The plastic covers gracefully take a beating even in my over-stuffed handbag (I *do* use a bookband to protect my notes, but the covers is bomber). These might be my second favorite notebook after Stalogy 365's.
