Let's just say I'm hard on my baggage. I schlep it around from school to home and vice versa. I overstuff. Bags fall from backseats in cars. I've even run over it with my office chair. Not a single tear, rip, or piece has come off. However, not only does it hold up, it is also stylish. It doesn't look like a computer bag so I feel safe carrying my laptop in it without "Steal Me!" screaming from its visage. It has plenty of slots, pouches, pockets, etc. but doesn't look like a purse. When I ask someone to get my portable hard drive out of the back for me, it takes them a good few minutes to find which pocket it is in. I suppose some consistency on my part putting it away would help.

This bag is small and poorly designed. The only reason I bought it is its the only bag i could find to fit my Dell Studio 17. Its ok quality.... the strap is suspect and it has limited pockets for electronics and accessories. I would not recommend this unless you have a laptop that requires it.

I had one of these cases in a different color. This thing is awesome! Protects your gear and you have plenty of room for all you work stuff! This breif case looks cool and works awesome. The last one I had still had life in it. It lasted over 10 yrs. I only got a new one because it was showing wear and this one was half the price of the original one I bought. get it!

great bag - I use for my laptop. very sturdy and lots of pockets for extras. the only thing I would change is it isn't easy to open if you are in tight quarters (like on an airplane) due to the flap.

This is an excellent bag in terms of appearance, but the over-the-shoiulder strap broke on this thing within the first six months and I wound up replacing it with a Samsonite and didn't look back. I didn't even bother contacting Swissgear as that's the second time that's happened to me with their product. I personally wouldn't buy from this company again unless it was severely discounted.

I purchased this messenger bag after returning two L.L.Bean laptop backpack bags (quality has gone way down in their bags since I was a kid). I used to own a Wenger Patriot (rolling computer case with seperate laptop case) but found it too big for my needs. However, I always remembered how durable it was, which lead me to look for a Wenger product.This messenger bag has quality stitching, a reinforced handle, solid construction, and it is very stylish. I most definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a lightweight laptop case, as it does fit the newer 17-inch screen sizes. It has a partitioned file compartment behind the laptop compartment and extra storage in the front area for accessories and supplies. It also has a pocket in the back for magazine-sized items, as well as a small pocket in the front, enough to hold your keys, iPod and whatever else you can fit into it.Simply 5-stars across the board.

This fits my HP Elitebook 8740W with no problems (17" screen). Built pretty solid, but I have a few gripes that really bother me about this bag:(1) The shoulder strap does not have swivel attachments to the bag. This means you have to consciously unravel the strap before putting it on if you want to avoid a tangled strap.(2) You cannot really carry the bag by the handle unless the two buckles on the outer flap are closed since the handle is attached to the outer flap.(3) The two buckles on the outer flap are a little small and require exact alignment to buckle shut. They're difficult to work with if you're trying to do it quickly. I would've liked to have seen the larger ones that self-align so I don't have to use two hands to close a single buckle.

Loved it! Exactly how I saw it at Staples, but at a much better price. The delivery was way ahead of time. I ordered it days before Christmas and it came before Christmas. It felt like a great present to myself.Thank you so much to AMZN. Operation Dragonboat seems to be heading the right way. I am most definitely rooting for you! Regardless of the possibility that it becoming a disruptor in the freight logistics sector, which I currently work in. I actually mean that lol.
