Great for most games
This is an amazing card for the price. It plays most games on recommended settings with no issues at all. Never had an issue with this card.

Great gpu, When the fan isn't loud
I love this gpu! The only downside is when I run certain games, it gets abit loud, could be because of my cpu usage not completely sure, but would highly recommend!

works great. good hash rate on ether (22)
i used it for mining. works great. good hash rate on ether (22) . stays cool. i run at 70% power amd most of the time fan speed is 50% with msi afterburner. overclocked to about 650 depending on the card itself. they do vary a little. i have one i cant get over 19 mhs or it will crash the rig. so far one of my favorite 1060's

Review on MSI GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GFX Card
I bought the MSI GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GFX Card as I was trying to get into the crytomining market (one of those guys, right?). Installation was easy, as always. I've always liked MSI cards, having had a Radeon 9000 in the past, and have been impressed by their manufacturing quality and looks. As I said, the installation into the mining board was easy, and loading the necessary drivers and software painless. I ended up using the cards for about 6 weeks before stopping them for use mining crypto.Noise-wise, when spinning up, was low-enough not to be too intrusive. If you're looking for a good bang-for-buck card that offers decent performance for a low-enough price, then this is the card for you. Especially if you can pick them up on the cheap now with the new cards being released.

I got the single fan GTX 1060 6G OCV1 model ...
I got the single fan GTX 1060 6G OCV1 model, and due to the single fan design I was concerned it might be loud compared to my old EVGA GTX 950 dual fan, but I can't tell any difference. This is with a custom fan profile in MSI Afterburner to boost fan speed. The heatsink has a lot of mass which I think allows effective cooling with the single fan. Also, unlike certain EVGA units there is a heatsink on the voltage regulators. And for the sake of clarity, this has a 6 pin power plugEdit: I've experimented more with the fan speed in a quiet room, and at 70% the fan is audible, at 80% it gets louder, and at 100% it's pretty loud. I've found that at 70% the card reaches around 70C which is a temperature I'm happy with.

Good Card, But Fan Died after 2yrs
I bought the MSI single-fan, 6GB, OCV1 version of this card. Card ran well for 2 years. Fan died last year. Buying a replacement fan for $7 on Amazon, will see if that fixes it... if so will update this listing with link to the fan.

Safety hazard!
This graphics card came in my IBuyPower desktop that I purchased less than a year ago. All was well up until a few days ago when this graphics card caused my computer to suddenly shut down and become unresponsive. The next day I was so happy to see things started running when I pressed the power button... until SPARKS AND FLAMES started shooting out of this piece! Fortunately it did not cause damage to any other components. I know this graphics card is the issue because my computer ran fine when I replaced it with my friends temporarily. I am so shocked and upset, it's definitely a safety hazard and now I have to pay to replace the graphics card, which should have lasted much longer in the first place. Since then I have found multiple other posts online about this issue, mine is not the first to catch fire! Be aware when buying this and be careful!
