This is a very effective sealant. It is gray in color and offers oil resistance. The sealant dries semi-dry. One must be very careful when applying it because it is extremely thin and runny. It is important not to get any of the sealant inside of the engine. It can drip very easily or run after applying it. It is so thin that one could actually apply it with a small paint brush. It takes a while to become fully semi-dry. Even after drying there is still considerable flexibility. Most people will use this in place of or in addition to a gasket. It works excellent for both purposes. However, if you are using it anywhere there is pressure, it does not hold very well at all. Honda Bond is in excellent sealant when used in the appropriate application. It is critical that you apply the thinnest amount possible. Especially if you are using it on a vertical surface as it will run because of how thin it is. My tube also cracked quite easily when using it. The messy RTV sealed that crack but it's still something to be aware of so that yours does not dry out

Lost the lower end seal on my chainsaw and therefor the suction needed for the carburetor. Cleaned the surfaces and used this and we are and running.

Product is easy to use and excellent to have on Hand when working on atvs and motorcycles .

I needed to make a flexible bond on the vacuum side of a rubber chainsaw intake manifold that was old. Phone pry tools work well to spread this stuff thinly. Make sure you assemble it in a minute or two, five minutes it is about set up.
