Easily installed on '97 Wrangler
Good fit on 1997 Jeep Wrangler TJ. Easy to install on front bumper. Seems quite heavy duty. Supposed to have a 10,000lb limit. Sticker says "Made in Taiwan".

Fits Jeep Wrangler 2003 Sahara
Smittybilt 7605 Black Tow Hook Kit. Fits on stock bumper of a jeep wrangler 2003 sahara. The jeep had the original T55 torx bolts still attached to the bumper and I was able to use them instead of the provided hex bolts. I had to use the back two holes, so the hook is sticking out further than the rubber stopper, which also had to be compressed down alot to be able to screw down the hook. Very satisfied with product and price, have not yet had to use it in recovery scenario.

ONE Hook in kit, a very nice hook just not two.
What's in the box: NOT two (2) hooks only one (1) hook with guard and four (4) bolts, two different thread patterns, (4) four washers and (2) two nuts. Not sure why when the hook only has 3 holes? The hook is heavy duty, highly recommend it but if you need (2) two then purchase (2) TWO. Questions and answers are all over the place. Again, this kit is just for (1) ONE hook. But a very good hook :)

burly, heavy, and solid, a welcome addition to the truck
On a snowy, wind drifted road in the Colorado mountains, I found out my 2012 Tacoma had no decent tow hook ups on the back. It has two stock loops on the front, but nothing on the back. The ball I installed in the bumper is useless for this. I ended up having to wrap the frame to get pulled out of a rut. And about 15 minutes later, again I had to wrap the frame to haul out some other hapless victim of that road. Time to install some rear hauling capability! For a number of reasons, I didn't want to install a receiver. Bought one of these figuring I could find some place to mount it. Lined it up on the rear frame with the forward of the (existing and unused) receiver threaded holes. Then drilled two 1/2 inch holes in the frame for the included bolts, and added a 3/8 inch collared bolt (ie not full threaded) through the existing hole. Solid and discrete, I now have one decent tow hook on the back of the truck. I'm buying one more for symmetry and redundancy. If I ever want to go with a full receiver, I can always unbolt the hooks, and be left with a couple harmless holes I drilled in my frame. The image doesn't quite do it credit for all the parts that came. It had 4 washers, 2 pairs of 1/2 inch bolts (yeah, 4 bolts for the 3 holes), one pair of bolts fine threaded with nylon lock nuts, and the other pair courser threaded no nuts. They are presumably for attaching to some pre-threaded holes on a stock jeep or some such. The retaining clip works well once it is bolted into place, better if there is a bolt in the front hole (picture is before I put the 3/8 bolt in). Without the clip, in my installation, the downward facing hook would tend to drop a tow strap if there is ever slack, so it is a welcome addition.Dimensions for the mount and hook are just over 6 inches long, ~3 inches tall. The 3-bolt mounting part is 1 inch deep, 1.5 inches wide, with 3 through holes for 1/2 inch bolts, at 1.25 inches spacing on center. Bolts are 2.75 inches long. Thanks
